Writer’s Block

Writing can be a barren place. In 2006 and 2007, three books were published. But they were written in 2005 and 226.
Since July of last year I’ve not been able to write.
Funny, but I’ve penned thousands of words and articles and blogs, but the books I wanted to write? Nada. Zilch. I could blame time, or busyness, or travel. But can I be honest? It’s not any of those.
I was stuck. For whatever reason, the words in my heart just wouldn’t come. . .
That’s changed in the past month. I’m writing a book about forgiveness. I’m interviewing people who have faced injustice at the hands of others, but who somehow found grace, and freedom. After each interview, I can’t wait to place my fingers on the keyboard. The words flow.
Once again, it’s the power of story.
I would blog more today, but I’ve got a chapter to write.

I love that your words are flowing again. I’m so glad God has called you to write his stories.
February 27th, 2008 at 1:27 amI have been studing to be an MT, and I was stuck in the writing process, and the process of comprehension. I now have been released into a great place where God wants me to be, discovery of Him, and how He is the only one that gives me the ability to create, to live, to move to breathe, to forgive. I am blessed when I do a lot of inventory, constantly to become who He wants me to be, right in the present moment. I am blessed by the fact that your words are flowing again, because of your thoughts on forgiveness. Thank You, you are an inspriration to me, to embrace the chase of identity, faith, and destiny. Very exciting!
