Leaving on a jet plane

It’s been wet and soggy here in beautiful Green Country. I leave tomorrow for Charlotte, NC.

Friends.

Fun!

I’m speaking at She Speaks, a wonderful ministry that trains women and young women who desire to speak or write. While I’m there, I’ll take a side trip to the beach and hang out with a few good friends.

Do you ever find that yourself wrapped up in the busy trap? That’s where I’ve been. The funny thing is that I wasn’t doing anything that I didn’t want to do. And from the outside looking in, it wouldn’t seem crazy busy except for the fact that I was juggling a lot of plates at one time.

For the next few days I’ll be immersed in friendship, faith, and fun.
