Tireless workers

November 4, 2008 | Ministry Life

This weekend I ministered at Dayton Destiny, a plant church in Huber Heights, OH that is impacting lives. The pastor and his wife are working hard; in fact, they are exhausted and hopeful. I pray for them today that Eric and Juli will feel God’s overwhelming strength, fire, passion, and joy. I pray that workers will come to help them and that financially their church will be blessed so that they can hire additional staff to accomplish all of their dreams and goals.

Do you know of a pastor and family that has sacrificed to minister to a community? I hope you’ll take time to encourage them. Send a card. Give extra. Buy them something special and unexpected. Give a word of encouragement.

I’ll talk more about the weekend later. I came home to 274 e-mails, a load of work, and I’m leaving again on Thursday so I need to prep and pray. : )

I appreciate all of you–more than you know.
