This week on Christian Momlogic
November 13, 2008 | Christian Momlogic
It’s that time of year again. You know, when you want to celebrate the meaning of Christmas. You have high hopes of home-cooked food, warm family memories, gentle snow brushed against your skin… You call that special someone or you walk in to the room and you say, “Did you see the snow? It’s beautiful”, and they say something like this:
“I hate winter.”
“But it means we will celebrate Christmas and Thanksgiving.”
“Commercial holidays. All they want to do is get in my wallet.”
“But the family is coming. That’s nice, right?”
Hrrumph.
You have a loved one who is your own personal gray cloud, hovering over holidays, missing the silver lining because it’s not silver, it’s lightening poised to strike everyone within the vicinity!
