girl, or boy?

February 10, 2010 | Just thinking out loud, Nurturing Family

By 9:00 a.m.  tomorrow I’ll know whether my grandbaby to be is a boy or a girl!

The last test said 75% sure of one sex, but he or she was being modest so they couldn’t say for sure.

How excited am I?

Well, on a scale of 1 to 10, about 100.

My daughter has a tiny baby bump. She’s 17 weeks along, and nestled inside is a little baby girl or boy that’s going to call me Gramma, or Grammy, or plain old Grandma. I really don’t care what I’m called, as long as I get to hold this beautiful creation in my arms come July.

For now I’m trekking to Dallas, most likely whiteknuckling the steering wheel through the big city traffic.

Will I tell tomorrow? Probably not. The parents get to make their announcements first. Once they’ve called family and it’s on their FB pages, it’s official. Then I’ll share.

Maybe I’ll even post a pic.
