Grow…

August 25, 2010 | Faith: Knowing Christ, Feelings: Intentional freedom, Video Bible study

This week’s study is in Mark 4:1-8. Just 8 short verses but packed with truth that can help us grow in our faith, especially if we feel that God is distant, or we are the ones that are too far away.

  1. Robin in VA says:

I love my gardens, both vegetable and flower. This passage of scripture has so much more meaning to me because I have watched seeds grow in good soil and I have watched seeds die in bad soil. I also know that some seeds take longer to bloom than others. I am so thankful that right now, God seems to be helping me to bloom in ways I never have before. I never before remember God speaking to me in so many ways and leading my path so obvious to me. Right now everywhere I turn for answers God is right there with exactly what I need. It has not been easy to continue when I can’t see the “Sonlight” but it has been worth the struggle in the dirt because now I am getting a glimpse of “Sonlight” like the bulbs looking for sunlight. I realize now that it is a slow and hard process for a seed to come up in the ground. I also love the analogy with the seed because the seed has to die before life begins. I am so thankful Christ died for me so that I may have life. Thanks Suzie for your obedience to God. Thanks for this video study.
